Using Pressbooks Results in your course

Pressbooks Results is included as a standard feature for all Pressbooks Enterprise Network clients. To use it in a course you’re teaching:

1. the plugin must be activated at the network level and
2. a working LTI configuration must be established between your Pressbooks network and your Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Moodle).

Pressbooks’ LTI plug-in supports grade passback along with other benefits of LTI integration, including user account creation and authentication, deep linking, and a seamless experience using Pressbooks content inside the LMS. If you do not see a box called “LMS Grade reporting” underneath the main content editor in your book, please contact your network manager.

If you do see a LMS Grade reporting box beneath the editing interface in your book, that means that Pressbooks Results is active and available for you to use. You can proceed by following these instructions:

1. Configure a Pressbooks chapter as a graded assignment
2. Add a Graded Assignment to your LMS
3. Add and access the Pressbooks Results Viewer in your course
